Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji has posted an update after his hip surgery went well and he will begin his rehabilitation to return to action as soon as possible.

    The 29-year-old suffer the injury late in the first half of last week’s 3-2 Champions League play-off first leg defeat to Real Madrid and manager Pep Guardiola reveal the player will undergo surgery and is expect to be out for eight to 10 weeks.
